Job summary

Bosch Group in Aveiro, Portugal, invites a CFD specialist to support the development and design of heat pump systems. You will simulate and optimize components using CFD/ANSYS, focusing on aerodynamics, aeroacoustics and heat transfer, and collaborate with engineers across disciplines.

You will plan tests, validate models, and help deliver cost-efficient, high-performance solutions for residential heating. Strong English, proactive teamwork, and independent work in a dynamic engineering

Qualifications

• Completed university degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Several years of experience applying CFD methods with ANSYS.
• Solid know-how in CFD analysis and validation methods.
• Very good English skills required.
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented mindset.

• Steer the design process of our products by using CFD tools to conduct analysis in the field of Aerodynamics, Aeroacoustics and Heat Transfer;
• Optimize the design of components while considering costs, performance and further requirements;
• Plan, coordinate, and execute testing activities to validate your CFD models;
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams and work closely with component experts and design engineers;

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

Education

• Completed university degree inmechanical engineering, energy technology, or a comparable field.

Experience

• Several years of experience in applying CFD methods and ANSYS software in the context of Aerodynamics, Aeroacoustics and Heat Transfer as well as working in interdisciplinary teams from different engineering domains.

Know how

• Solid know-how in analysis and validation methods for CFD models.

Languages

• Very good English skills required.

• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented approach. Ability to manage tasks proactively and think in a cost- and value-driven way.
