Hitachi Rail Limited in Portugal is seeking a System Engineer - CCTV & Security Systems to formalise specifications, assemble the solution, and verify performance to ensure production readiness.

You will coordinate subsystem development, act as the technical interface for CCTV matters, and prepare documentation for design, configuration, installation and testing. English fluency is required, with French preferred, and travel may be needed.

Qualificações

• 2–3 years of CCTV and Security Systems engineering experience.
• Ability to read architectural drawings.
• Knowledge of CCTV, Video Management and Security Systems.
• Experience with CAD and Visio tools (preferred).
• Knowledge of WAN/LAN networks (preferred).
• Experience with Virtual Machines and Active Directory environments (preferred).
• Genetec knowledge is an advantage.
• Fluent English mandatory; French preferred.
• Willingness to travel and support onsite activities.

Responsabilidades

• Formalise specifications and engineering plans for CCTV & Security Systems.
• Assemble solution elements to evaluate design, behaviour, interactions and performance.
• Ensure compliance with system requirements and prepare technical documentation.
• Plan and coordinate subsystem development within architecture constraints; act as technical interface.
• Prepare training materials and provide technical training as required.
• Support IVVQ activities, including configuration, verification, validation and FAT tests.
• Assist onsite installation activities and start-up / acceptance testing.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through Lessons Learned.
