Hitachi Rail GTS in Portugal is seeking a SCADA System Engineer to formalise specifications, plan subsystem development, and serve as the technical interface for SCADA matters. You will assemble system elements to evaluate design, ensure compliance, and prepare documentation for production, testing and operation.

The role requires 2–3 years in SCADA, ability to read drawings, knowledge of SCADA architecture, and fluency in English.

Qualificações

• Degree in Electronics Engineering, Control & Automation Engineering or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of experience in SCADA Systems Engineering.
• Ability to read architectural and technical drawings.
• Knowledge of SCADA systems architecture, integration and configuration.
• Experience with Visio and Microsoft Office tools.
• Fluency in English (mandatory) and French (preferred).

Responsabilidades

• Formalise the specifications and engineering plans used to develop the solution/product.
• Assemble the solution/product elements to evaluate the design, behaviour and performance.
• Plan and coordinate subsystem development within the architecture constraints.
• Act as the project-wide technical interface for SCADA matters.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation including system requirements and testing documents.
• Provide technical training when required.
• Support onsite installation activities and FAT tests.
• Perform start-up, on-site configuration and acceptance testing.
