PrimeVigilance Ltd. in Portugal seeks an experienced Pharmacovigilance professional to lead ICSR activities and manage a dedicated team.

You will oversee line management, develop KPI-based processes, and support cross-department collaboration in pharmacovigilance operations. Ideal candidates will have a life sciences background, 5–6+ years in PV with at least 3 years in a leadership role, strong communication, organizational skills, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualificações

  • Life science graduate or healthcare qualification with pharmacovigilance experience.
  • 5-6 years PV experience with minimum 3 years in line management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Delegation, planning and time management skills.
  • Advanced literacy in MS Office.
  • Fluent English (spoken and written).

Responsabilidades

  • Provide support to project team activities for clients and company.
  • Line manage assigned ICSR staff.
  • Create and maintain project KPIs for ICSR activities.
  • Propose process changes to ICSR Operational Lead.
  • Manage ICSR deviations with support.
  • Review trackers and timesheets for accuracy.
  • Involved in ICSR processing and second QC of cases.
  • Support other departments as instructed.
  • Serve as SME for ICSR and support other SMEs.
  • Support RA & PV Network Department, act as Local Contact Person for Pharmacovigilance for the country and role of PRLS as agreed.

Job Description
  • Providing support to other activities undertaken by the project team on behalf of the client and the company
  • Line Manages assigned ICSR staff
  • Creates and maintains project specific KPIs for contracted ICSR activities (this includes optimizing procedures, trainings and any other actions to increase ICSR team efficiency)
  • Proposes process changes to ICSR Operational Lead
  • Manages ICSR deviations with ICSR Operational Lead support
  • Reviews trackers and timesheet data and ensures accuracy
  • Is involved in ICSR processing and 2nd QC of cases
  • Support other departments, as approved and instructed by ICSR Operational Lead
  • Operates as the assigned team SME and supports other SMEs
  • Supporting the RA & PV Network Department as needed, including acting as the LCPPV (Local Contact Person for Pharmacovigilance) for the specified country and taking on the role of PRLS (Person Responsible for Local Screening) for the designated language, as agreed with the line manager
Qualifications
  • Life science graduate, pharmacy, nursing, other healthcare related qualification or experience in pharmacovigilance
  • 5-6 years of work experience in pharmacovigilance within which minimum 3 year of work experience in line manager role.
