Meritis in Porto, Portugal seeks a skilled .NET/C# developer to design, implement and maintain high-quality software solutions. You will write clean, scalable code and collaborate with teams to improve performance and reliability.

The role requires English proficiency (B2), agile mindset, and mentoring colleagues. You’ll contribute to best practices and participate in continuous improvement initiatives within a supportive, innovation-driven environment.

Qualificações

• Experience in C#/.NET development.
• Experience with EF Core and SQL Server.
• Knowledge of relational databases and good coding practices.
• Ability to review pull requests and enforce coding standards.
• Agile mindset and commitment to craftsmanship.

• Implement and maintain solutions in .NET environment using C# and .NET;
• Build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code;
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications;
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address those issues;
• Help maintain code quality and organization;
• Mentor and Coach new and/or Software developers.

Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Experience in C#/.NET Development
• SQL Server Integration Services
• Experienced with C# for frontend and backend application programming
• Knowledge in KISS and SOLID principles
• Experience using Entity Framework/EF core
• Knowledge and experience with relational databases
• Coding according to good practices, enforcing them in Pull Request approvals
• Agile & craftmanship mindset

Language

Proficiency in spoken and written English, minimum B2.
