WE ARE META is seeking a C# .NET Developer in Porto with strong experience in financial software environments. The role involves developing, integrating and troubleshooting Sophis across front-to-back systems, and collaborating with trading teams to ensure compliant solutions.

The ideal candidate has 6 years in IT, advanced C#/.NET and Oracle/PL-SQL, and can work autonomously within a small agile team. Hybrid work in Porto and EU work eligibility are required.

Qualificações

• 6 years of experience as IT Developer / Software Engineer in a regulated financial environment.
• Proficiency in C# (.NET) and Oracle/PL-SQL at an advanced level.
• Experience with customizing, integrating and troubleshooting Sophis (Front to Back).
• Familiarity with equity derivatives workflows and financial regulations, translating regulatory requirements into technical solutions.

For this position, the perfect Rhino should have the following skills:

• 6 years of experience as an IT Developer / Software Engineer (Equity)
• Proficiency in C# (.NET) and Oracle/PL-SQL at an advanced level, covering development, optimization, and troubleshooting within a regulated financial environment.
• Demonstrated ability to customize, integrate, and troubleshoot Sophis (Front to Back) in close collaboration with business and trading system teams.
• Familiarity with equity derivatives workflows and financial regulations, with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail, enabling accurate diagnosis and resolution of technical and functional issues in production environments.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing actively to a small, cross-functional agile team, sharing knowledge and maintaining high delivery quality.
• Hands-on experience with Git, CLR, XLD, Azure DevOps and Jenkins
• Exposure to secondary technologies such as C++, Java, Python, PowerShell, or Power BI is a plus for extending team capabilities across reporting and automation tasks.
• Fluency in English (B2)
• Availability for Hybrid model, 2 times a week based in Porto
• Based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit
