Smartconsulting in Lisbon is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and integrate Fixed Income financial software based on Summit. You will work in an international environment, collaborating with business and technical teams across locations, including Lisbon, two times per week.

You will translate business requirements into technical solutions, implement features, write tests and documentation, participate in code reviews, and support DevOps activities as needed.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/Engineering or similar field.
• Solid experience with C++ and/or C#.
• Knowledge of shell scripting and Git.
• Experience with SQL and data handling.
• Fluent English for international collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and enhance Fixed Income solutions based on Summit software.
• Contribute to service-oriented integrations within the broader IT ecosystem.
• Learn and work with Summit SDK and related IT systems.

We are looking for a Software Engineer to develop and integrate Fixed Income financial software based on Summit. You will work in an international environment, contributing to the full development lifecycle while interacting closely with business and technical teams across locations (Lisbon, 2 times per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance Fixed Income solutions based on Summit software
• Contribute to service-oriented integrations within the broader IT ecosystem
• Learn and work with Summit SDK and related IT systems
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Create and maintain technical documentation (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
• Participate in and integrate the team’s automatic and manual code review processes
• Develop Functional and Unit Tests for new features and enhancements
• Contribute to Non-Regression testing tools and efficiency improvements
• Support DevOps-related activities when required

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar field
• Solid experience with C++ and/or C#
• Knowledge of shell scripting
• Experience with Git and SQL
• Strong analytical skills and ability to understand business processes
• Fluent English (daily interaction with international teams)
