We are looking for a Senior BI Consultant (focus Data Architecture) to strengthen the IQVIA Business Intelligence and Data Science team.

Principle Accountabilities

• Your main focus will be situated on the analysis and design of relevant solutions as well as the technical development of these solutions.
• Interface with different parties to understand their business requirements, which you will translate into solutions & applications.
• You will be involved in all phases of the project, from requirement gathering to delivery, as well as defining best practices and building innovative solutions.
• You are able to demonstrate creativity, flexibility, autonomy, and efficiency within a dynamic, evolving environment.
• You will work as a consultant of IQVIA on the Belgium market.
• You will be part of our near shore team (Lisbon Based).

Education, Experience, Soft skills & Specialized Knowledge Required

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Languages: English.
• Experience in gathering and challenging requirements and translating these into a design and/or solution.
• Significant experience with ETL and ELT technologies.
• Knowledge of Snowflake, Informatica Cloud, SSIS, DataBricks, or Denodo.
• Experience with API calls.
• Hands-on front-end development experience in Business Intelligence projects.
• You know Kimball.
• A customer-oriented personality with positive drive and a pragmatic, innovative approach.
• High interest in qualitative and quantitative data analysis and interpretation.
• You are curious and pragmatic.
• You are able to work as part of a team or independently.
• You are self-motivated & proactive.
• Stress-resilient with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.

Any of the following elements are considered as a big plus:

• Affinity with the healthcare sector
• Data modelling skills
• Knowledge of Data Warehousing, Scorecarding and performance management solutions.
• Knowledge of Qlik Sense / QlikView / PowerBI, Denodo and other BI/DWH Tools
• Working in Agile mode
• General project management skills
• Knowledge of Veeva
