Job summary

SafeHarbor Logistics is seeking a Live-In Caregiver in Braga, Portugal to provide in-home care for elderly clients. This contract role includes accommodation and a monthly salary of 1600$.

Responsibilities include personal care, medication administration, meal preparation, and creating a safe living environment. Strong communication in English and Portuguese is preferred, with background checks required.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a caregiver, preferably with the elderly population.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Portuguese (or willingness to learn).
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Biometric passport or ability to obtain one.
• Willingness to undergo background checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily assistance with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Administer medication according to individual care plans.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if needed.
• Create a safe and comfortable living environment for clients.
• Engage in meaningful activities with clients to promote socialization and mental stimulation.
• Monitor and report any changes in client's health or behavior to the appropriate authorities.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities and care provided.
