Job summary

RemoteConnect seeks a Junior Full-Stack Developer to join our Braga team. You will build and maintain front-end and back-end features, collaborating with designers and teammates to deliver scalable web applications. The role requires a CS degree (or equivalent) and proficiency in HTML/CSS/JS, plus exposure to Node.js or Django and databases like MySQL or MongoDB. English communication is essential.

Salary: 1700$ per month. Location: Braga. Work visa sponsorship available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern front-end framework (e.g. React, Angular).
• Experience with at least one back-end language (e.g. Node.js, Python).
• Familiarity with database systems such as MySQL or MongoDB.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with team members.
• Excellent communication skills in English (Portuguese is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user-facing features using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Collaborate with designers to ensure seamless integration of front-end components.
• Design and implement back-end APIs using frameworks such as Node.js or Django.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues with existing codebase.
