Work in USA is seeking a skilled Bilingual Interpreter to join our team in Almada. The role focuses on accurate interpretation between English and another language, with emphasis on confidentiality and impartiality.

This full-time position offers visa sponsorship for non-EU citizens and a relocation support ticket. Candidate should have proven interpreting experience, strong listening and communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office. Portuguese preferred as second language.

Qualificações

• Proven experience as an interpreter or similar role.
• Fluent in English and another language (Portuguese preferred).
• Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and adapt quickly to changing situations.
• Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software programs.

Responsabilidades

• Act as an intermediary between individuals who speak different languages.
• Listen carefully and interpret spoken communication accurately and objectively.
• Understand cultural differences and adapt interpretation accordingly.
• Ensure confidentiality and impartiality at all times.
• Provide consecutive or simultaneous interpretation depending on the situation.
• Accurately convey tone, emotions, and nuances of the speaker's message.
• Take notes or maintain records of conversations for reference.
• May assist with written translation documents as needed.
