ForceShield, an international company based in Almada, is seeking a skilled Interpreter to join our team. You will provide accurate consecutive and simultaneous interpretation between English and Portuguese, support meetings, and translate documents as needed.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of interpreting experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to confidentiality. Flexible hours, including weekends, may be required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in translation, linguistics, or related field.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese.
• Minimum 2 years of interpreting experience.

• Familiarity with translation software is a plus.

We are an international company based in Almada seeking a skilled Interpreter to join our team As an Interpreter you will be responsible for providing accurate and efficient language interpretation services for our clients

Responsibilities

• Provide consecutive or simultaneous interpretation services between English and the designated language preferably Portuguese
• Translate written documents from English to the designated language
• Act as a cultural liaison between clients and colleagues
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Attend meetings conferences and other events as needed to provide interpretation services
• Collaborate with other interpreters and team members to ensure consistency and accuracy in translation
• Keep up-to-date with industry terminology and language trends

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in translation linguistics or related field preferred
• Fluency in English and the designated language preferably Portuguese
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an interpreter
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Excellent listening skills and ability to accurately convey meaning between languages
• Familiarity with translation software is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends if needed

Salary

We offer a competitive salary of $1600 per month for this full-time position
