Miniclip in Lisbon is seeking a Backend Developer to join our Games Development Studio. You will design, develop, and operate scalable back-end systems for multiplayer mobile game infrastructure, collaborating with an agile team to deliver robust server solutions.

The ideal candidate has UNIX/Linux experience and proficiency in C/C++, Java, Go, Erlang, Elixir, or PHP, with a passion for learning and delivering high-quality backend services in a hybrid work environment.

Qualificações

• Experience in networked back-end/server systems in UNIX/Linux/POSIX.
• Proficiency in one or more of C, C++, Java, Go, Erlang, Elixir or PHP.
• Experience with high-capacity web servers and migrations of legacy systems.
• Ability to analyze requirements and sizing for systems.
• Strong problem-solving and learning mindset; proactive improvement.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, maintain, and operate robust back-end systems.
• Extend and improve in-house technology for scalable platforms.
• Migrate legacy systems and manage technical transitions.
• Collaborate in agile Scrum team with backend and client devs.
• Contribute to new game modes, campaigns, events, and content.
• Support feature development and bug resolution across systems.
