Air Apps is hiring for on-site roles in Lisbon. You will design and build RESTful APIs and microservices with Node.js/TypeScript, using Supabase and PostgreSQL for data, managing deployments on GCP and other cloud providers, and upholding Clean Code/Architecture.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in backend engineering roles.
• Proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with Supabase or PostgreSQL-based backend services.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), including serverless.
• Solid knowledge of Clean Code and Clean Architecture.
• Experience with API design (REST) and cloud-native app development.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, testing tools, and Git workflows.
• Strong grasp of security principles, data protection, and compliance best practices.
• Effective communicator and proactive team contributor.

• Deploy and manage services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly with Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, IAM, and Pub/Sub.
• Write clean, testable code using unit, integration, and end-to-end testing frameworks (e.g., Jest).
• Contribute to code reviews and quality assurance practices.
• Implement secure-by-default solutions for authentication, authorization, and data protection, following Clean Code and Clean Architecture principles.
• Set up logging, monitoring, and alerting for backend services.
• Own incident response and uptime improvements.
• Participate in architecture discussions, mentor team members, and document your decisions and systems for internal knowledge sharing.
