ICTStrypes in Porto is seeking a Backend Engineer to join our team. You will develop robust RESTful APIs, design efficient database schemas, and implement authentication and authorization to secure applications.

The role operates in a hybrid environment supporting our European clients. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, 3–5 years of backend experience, strong C# and ASP.NET Core skills, and experience with GitLab CI/CD and .NET unit testing.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of backend development experience.
• Good knowledge of C# and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with GitLab CI/CD or similar CI/CD tools.
• Experience with unit testing using testing frameworks in the .NET environment.
• Understanding of database management systems (SQL and/or NoSQL).
• Good communication skills in English.

Responsabilidades

• Develop robust and scalable RESTful APIs to support our product's core functionalities.
• Implement efficient database schemas and optimize database performance.
• Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms to ensure the security of our applications.
• Write technical documentation and continuously strive to improve software.
• Work according to Agile Scrum methodologies.
