Vizrt One Media AB is seeking a full-time Software Engineer to join the Media Asset Management (MAM) business unit in the Stockholm office, working with the platform team to develop the broadcasting market's most competitive client-facing applications. These applications aim to improve the daily work of TV anchors, journalists, editors, producers, operators, video editors, and graphics artists worldwide.

About the role

• Deliver container-based deployment workflows for Viz One, our media asset management system.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on Proof of Concepts (PoCs) to explore new ideas and technologies.
• Develop new features and enhance existing products and components.
• Modernize and future-proof our product codebases.
• Support professional services to deliver projects within scope and deadlines.
• Develop and maintain test automation to validate software functionality.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize software performance.
• Maintain and improve the quality of existing code.

Requirements

• Experience with at least one high-level programming language (e.g., Python, Perl) and/or one lower-level language (e.g., C++, Go).
• Experience with cloud services (AWS preferred), containers, and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of AI products/features, especially in semantic search or video analysis.
• Knowledge of audio/video encoding is a plus.
• Experience with relational databases is a plus.
• Experience implementing RESTful API services is a plus.
• Experience working in an agile/scrum environment.
