Aiera.Com in Loulé, Algarve is hiring a mid-senior web developer to join a fast-growing US fintech startup. The role is hybrid (2 days/week in the office) with a €45,000–€55,000 gross annual salary, depending on experience.

You’ll work primarily in Python on SaaS backend systems, improve performance and reliability, modernize infrastructure toward serverless architectures, and help build an AI-powered platform planned for 2026.

Qualificações

• 5+ years of professional web development experience with SaaS platforms.
• Strong backend expertise with Python.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, cloud architectures, and modern DevOps practices.
• Collaborative mindset — thrive in hybrid setups and international teamwork.
• Either: already based in Algarve and seeking an international job environment, or already based in Portugal or Spain and relocating to Algarve.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and refactor the current product platform to improve performance and scalability for tens of thousands of financial events via webcasts.
• Automate manual systems to increase reliability and efficiency.
• Harden and modernize infrastructure, migrating from legacy to serverless/cloud-based architectures (Terraform, Kafka, Lambda).
• Contribute to the development of the new AI-powered platform to be released in 2026.
