Back-End Developer for Biometric Passport System in Braga

We are seeking a skilled Back-End Developer to join our team in Braga and work on the development of a new biometric passport system. As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the server-side logic of the system, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement server-side applications and databases for the biometric passport system
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Troubleshoot and debug issues with existing systems
• Ensure data security and protection by implementing data encryption and secure authentication methods

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proven experience as a Back-End Developer, ideally working on web-based systems
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python or Ruby
• Experience with database management systems (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB)
• Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. HTML, JavaScript) is a plus

This is a part-time position with a salary of $1600 per month.
