Understanding Solutions is partnered with a well‑known UK arts organisation to strengthen a backend platform ahead of a major event in May 2027. The role centers on C#/.NET, EF Core, SQL Server, APIs, and Blazor, with remote collaboration across teams in the UK and Portugal.

You will tackle a defined backlog, implement backend services, and support Blazor components while ensuring robust API functionality and data handling for the submission flow.

Qualificações

• Strong commercial C# and .NET Core / .NET experience.
• Experience with Entity Framework Core and SQL Server.
• Experience building and supporting APIs.
• Blazor experience is part of the wider application.

We are working with a well‑known UK arts organisation who are looking for C# / .NET Developers to come in and support an important platform ahead of a major annual event in May 2027.

The platform manages over 50,000 entries each year, covering the full journey from submissions and review through to shortlisting, sales and payments. There is a clear backlog of development work ready to go, so they need a solid engineer who can hit the ground running, work through well‑defined tickets and make a real impact on the platform and fix it up for success.

This is a backend‑leaning role, although you will need Blazor experience as part of the wider application.

Key Experience Needed

• Strong commercial C# and .NET Core / .NET experience
• Entity Framework Core
• SQL Server
• Experience building and supporting APIs
• Comfortable working within an existing development team and codebase
• Strong communication skills when working remotely
• Experience with Azure, Docker and automated testing would be beneficial, but the core focus is C#, .NET, Blazor, EF Core and SQL Server.
