Overview

We are in search of a highly skilled Back-End Developer to join our team in Porto. As a Back-End Developer you will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side applications that power our web and mobile platforms. Your main focus will be on creating high-quality, efficient and scalable code to support our growing user base.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop server-side applications using programming languages such as Java, Python, or Ruby.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Optimize code for maximum performance and scalability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely manner.
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in back-end development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role.
• Strong programming skills in at least one of the following languages: Java, Python, or Ruby.
• Experience working with databases such as MySQL or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.

Salary

€1700 per month, negotiable depending on experience.
