Siemens Mobility Portugal is seeking a seasoned Windows Server, Azure Administrator, and SQL Server DBA to join our IT Operations team. You will manage Windows Server infra, Azure cloud resources, and SQL Server platforms, ensuring availability, performance, and security.

The role emphasizes hybrid infrastructure, automation with PowerShell, and proactive monitoring with Zabbix. You will collaborate with engineering teams and vendor support to maintain HA/DR and cost efficiency.

Qualificações

• Strong experience in Windows Server administration.
• Hands on experience with Microsoft Azure, including IaaS and Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Proven experience administering Microsoft SQL Server in production environments.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsabilidades

• Administer Windows Server operating systems, patching and security updates.
• Manage Azure resources including VNets, NSGs, storage, and AVD host pools.
• Perform SQL Server configuration, backups, tuning, and HA/DR setup.
• Coordinate with support teams on performance issues and incidents.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks.
• Monitor availability and performance of SQL Server and Windows Server environments.
• Create dashboards and reports on infrastructure health and costs.
• Document configurations and maintain up-to-date operating procedures.
