Hitachi Automotive Systems Americas, Inc. is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to design, automate, and secure cloud environments in AWS using Terraform IaC and CI/CD pipelines.

You will implement Landing Zones, manage EC2, S3, RDS, and VPC networks, and enforce security controls while aligning with the SDLC. Collaboration across teams is essential for reliable, scalable infrastructure and cost efficiency.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 4–8 years of IT experience.
• 2–4 years hands-on AWS experience.
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with IaC and configuration management tools (Terraform).
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions).
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Bash, Python, etc.).
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional preferred; AWS Specialty certificates advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Implement, automate, and manage AWS cloud environments following best practices.
• Configure AWS infrastructure, including EC2, S3, RDS, and networking (VPCs/Subnets/Security Groups).
• Build and configure Landing Zones per AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Implement security measures such as IAM roles, policies, and encryption mechanisms.
• Develop IaC scripts using Terraform for automated provisioning.
• Participate in architecture discussions and cross-team knowledge sharing.
• Support cost efficiency and operational excellence targets.
