Job summary

Inetum, a European leader in digital services, seeks a senior SAP leader to drive the development of its SAP practice, with a focus on Public Sector initiatives. Reporting to the SAP Director, you will guide complex programmes and manage client relationships, teams and proposals.

You will influence strategy, lead pre-sales and large tenders above €1M, and mentor SAP professionals while coordinating cross-functional delivery and commercial functions.

Qualifications

• Degree or Master's in Management, Engineering, Information Systems or an equivalent field.
• At least 15 years of experience with SAP solutions.
• Solid SAP FI/CO experience and knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
• Experience managing medium and large SAP projects and complex programmes.
• Proven experience in SAP pre-sales and proposal development.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, large-scale SAP projects and programmes, ensuring delivery against timeline, cost, quality and customer satisfaction objectives.

Reporting to the SAP Director, you will support the leadership and development of Inetum's SAP practice, with a particular focus on Public Sector initiatives.

The role combines leadership of complex SAP programmes, client relationship management, business development, proposal development and coordination of multidisciplinary teams. You will act as a key link between clients, delivery teams and commercial functions, supporting both operational excellence and sustainable business growth.

Profile

• Degree or Master's in Management, Engineering, Information Systems or an equivalent field.
• At least 15 years of experience with SAP solutions.
• Solid SAP FI/CO experience and knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
• Knowledge of end-to-end financial processes, budget management, Procurement and Management Control.
• At least 5 years of SAP team leadership or SAP project management experience.
• Experience managing medium and large SAP projects and complex programmes.
• Proven experience in SAP pre-sales and proposal development.
• Proven experience leading or actively contributing to public tenders and SAP proposals above €1M, including solution definition, team structure, estimation and commercial defence.
• Experience in project financial management, contract management and executive stakeholder management.
• Strong leadership, communication, strategic thinking, decision-making and stakeholder influencing capabilities.
• Autonomy, accountability, results orientation and a focus on business growth.

Additional Valued Experience

• SAP projects for Portuguese Public Administration.
• SNC-AP and public-sector reporting processes.
• SAP Public Sector Management, SAP IS-U, SAP SAC, SAP Datasphere, SAP BTP, SAP Project Systems or SAP Analytics.
• Experience in Water, Energy or Transport.
• SAP Finance certification.
• PMP, Prince2 or equivalent certification.
• International project experience.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.
