Job summary

ROBINSON Club GmbH is seeking an Assistant Bar Manager (m/f/d) to lead a welcoming bar team, anticipate guests’ wishes and serve memorable drinks, whether at the bar or in the restaurant.

You’ll ensure smooth transactions, timely setup of all bar stations, stock management and event support, while you also create and refine cocktail recipes.

Fluency in English and German, a hotel or bar background, and willingness to live at a ROBINSON club for several months are valued.

Qualifications

• Training as a hotel specialist or hotel-related qualification.
• More than one year experience as a bartender.
• Ideally a leadership/management background.
• Fluent in English and German; local language skills preferred.
• Willingness to live and work at a ROBINSON club for at least six months.

Responsibilities

• Assist in bar management and guest relations.
• Ensure timely setup of bar stations and smooth transactions.
• Manage stock and support events and functions.

Coordinate us – as an Assistant Bar Manager (m/f/d) at ROBINSON

In your role as assistant bar manager, you’ll anticipate our guests’ every wish and serve them the most delicious drinks. Whether at the bar or in the restaurant, you’ll work with your team to ensure our guests have everything they need! You have a knack for making guests happy, even with the smallest of details. You’re our assistant bar manager – a team player through and through and a host with all your heart.

In your job as a bar manager, you ensure smooth transactions in the bar area and at special events. You’re responsible for the timely setup at all bar stations. You also create new recipes for delicious cocktails and regularly refine them. Your job at the bar also requires you to take care of the stock.

Your daily life in your job at the bar

As a bar manager, you keep an eye on the correct storage of the products. You always have a good overview and are the contact person in your area – for the guests as well as your employees, who can approach you at any time with their trust. You also make sure that the sanitary regulations are complied with. Be a host and team player and support other ROBINS in a variety of events.

For your new job as a bar manager, you should bring your passion and the following:

• Training as a hotel specialist
• More than one year experience as a bar tender
• Ideally, management experience
• Excellent manners and a well-groomed appearance
• English and German fluent, ideally local language skills
• Flexibility and a willingness to live and work in one of our clubs for at least six consecutive months
