Due to the company’s continual growth and forthcoming capital deployment stream, Norfin intends to select: Asset & ESG Analyst.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support in monitoring the revision of urban development plans that align company activities with landscape and resource protection; assist in planning activities related to the definition of urban green areas and their integration with ongoing projects; support in the preparation and review of subdivision and infrastructure projects, particularly in assessing green space designs, evaluating the proposed landscaping solutions, and ensuring their integration with surrounding ongoing projects.
  • Support in ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) and Asset Management: support the implementation of Norfin’s corporate ESG strategy; collaborate across various teams and projects to ensure alignment with sustainability goals and best practices, providing guidance on sustainable practices and the implementation of eco‑friendly solutions in ongoing projects; assist in obtaining sustainability and energy efficiency certifications for managed assets during the planning and design phases; contribute to the collection and processing of project and construction data using GIS systems to support GRESB assessments, carbon accounting, and decarbonisation initiatives; support the preparation and monitoring of maintenance contracts for undeveloped private green areas, particularly in the management of fuel breaks and the cleaning and clearance of water.
Qualifications
  • Recent graduate in a technical field such as Landscape Architecture, Environmental Engineering, or Geography.
  • Knowledge or experience in ESG‑related topics.
  • Understanding of green space design and its integration into tourism and residential developments.
  • Knowledge of spatial planning legislation and its application in environmental and urban planning.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, GIS (ArcGIS), and AutoCAD.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Familiarity with European regulations and standards (CSRD, SFDR, EU Taxonomy, GRI, GRESB, Deepki) is highly valued.
  • Proactive approach to problem‑solving; ability to develop innovative solutions and adapt to a variety of challenges.
Location
  • Full‑time position based in Vilamoura, with the possibility of remote work 1 to 2 days per week.
