Pixel Innovations in Lisbon, Portugal, seeks a Junior Game Developer on a contract basis to support a growing portfolio of games. You will work under experienced teammates to build engaging experiences for multiple platforms.

Ideal candidates have a CS or game development background, familiarity with C++/C/Java, and an eagerness to learn Unity and new tools. Collaboration and self‑direction are required.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or related field.
• Proficient in C++, C or Java.
• Basic understanding of game development principles.
• Knowledge of Unity or other game engines is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with game designers and artists to develop game concepts and ideas.
• Write efficient, maintainable and well-documented code for game features and mechanics.
• Implement game logic, user interface and gameplay systems.
• Debug and optimize code for smooth performance on all target platforms.
• Stay updated with industry trends and new technologies to improve development process.
