Client Server Limited in Lisbon is seeking an Application Security Engineer to design production-grade security solutions, conduct architecture reviews and threat modelling across the software lifecycle. You will collaborate with Engineering, Infrastructure and privacy teams, perform vulnerability assessments, security testing and code reviews, and mentor developers to embed secure practices.

The role offers hybrid flexibility, a competitive package up to €95,000 plus training, pension benefits

Qualifications

• Security engineer with SDLC experience and hands-on tooling.
• Proficient in Python/Go/Java for automating security tasks.
• DevOps security experience and threat modelling capability.
• Knowledge of cloud (AWS/GCP) and containers (Kubernetes/Docker).

Responsibilities

• Design production-grade application security solutions and lead threat modelling.
• Conduct architecture and design reviews across projects.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, security testing and code reviews.
• Ensure privacy and regulatory considerations are addressed in designs.
• Mentor developers and promote secure development practices.
