Intermedia is seeking an Application Security Engineer in Portugal to join the Global Security team. You will help embed secure practices across our product portfolio, guiding architecture decisions and SDLC security implementations.

This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager, Application Security. You will perform design reviews, coordinate remediation, conduct manual assessments, and respond to bug bounty findings.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in application security.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP and secure coding practices.
• Familiar with SDLC and DevSecOps concepts.
• Experience with static and dynamic security scanning tools.
• Experience with Python preferred.
• Ability to explain security threats to developers and managers.
• Good written and verbal English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Perform design and architecture reviews for new features and define security requirements.
• Collaborate with DevOps and engineering teams on security features in SDLC.
• Utilize static scanning tools, review findings, coordinate remediation actions.
• Conduct ongoing manual security assessments.
• Review external penetration test results and communicate fixes to teams.
• Provide on-demand support on application security topics.
• Drive process improvements in security workflows.
• Assist with defect intake from bug bounty programs.
