Job summary

MIKUTA is seeking a Quality Controller to ensure every garment meets our standards from initial sample to final shipment. You will work with the product team and manufacturing partners across Europe, with a focus on QC across fabrics, trims, and construction.

The role requires strong quality control experience in fashion, the ability to read tech packs, and excellent attention to detail. Hybrid work is available, with responsibilities spanning supplier communication and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English for clear communication with suppliers and teams.
• Experience in quality control within apparel or textile industries.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, trims and processes.
• Ability to read tech packs, measurement charts and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail; well-organised and proactive problem solver.
• Proficient with Excel or Google Sheets for data and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Inspect garments to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Identify defects in fabrics, trims, construction, measurements and finishing.
• Monitor quality during production and verify corrective actions.
• Evaluate pre-production, size set and shipment samples.
• Check garment measurements and workmanship; provide technical feedback.
• Communicate quality requirements clearly to suppliers; follow up on actions.
• Maintain inspection reports and quality records; drive continuous improvement.
