Decskill in Lisbon, Portugal is seeking Mid and Senior Java Developers to join our Backend team. You will develop enterprise backend platforms in a hybrid work model with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote, contributing to scalable services for a leading iGaming company.

Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining backend services, collaborating with cross‑functional teams, integrating with 3rd party services, and ensuring production reliability.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of strong technical experience in Java.
• Experience with design patterns.
• Experience with multithreaded environments.
• Experience with SQL and writing complex queries.
• Experience with Spring Framework.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain an enterprise-level applications platform.
• Participate in functional design specification reviews and collaborate on technical design approaches.
• Work with other department developers on integration and shared development.
• Integrate with 3rd party applications and products.
• Handle all aspects of the backend platform and maintain servers and deployment processes.

Job Description

They are seeking to hire a Java Software Developer to join our Backend department and play a pivotal role in developing our backend platform.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain an enterprise-level applications platform.
• Participate in functional design specification reviews and work with technical team members to determine technical design approaches.
• Work together with other department developers regarding integration and shared development.
• Integrating with 3rd party applications and products
• As a team member, you will be responsible on all aspects of handling the platform's backend.
• Maintaining the servers, deployment processes and debugging live in production when required.

What we are looking for:

• 3+ years of strong technical experience in Java.
• Experience with design patterns.
• Experience with multithreaded environments.
• Experience with SQL Experience working with a DB, writing complicated queries.
• Experience with Spring Framework.
