PrimeIT is seeking an Angular Developer in Portugal to design, build and maintain Angular components and features, turning operational needs into intuitive user interfaces. You will collaborate with backend developers, contribute to a design system, and ensure performance, testing, and production stability.

Mid-level candidate with 3–6 years of experience in Angular and TypeScript, plus familiarity with data grids, charting libraries, and modern frontend practices.

Qualificações

• Academic degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience building web apps with Angular and TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of modern Angular features like standalone components and RxJS.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build and maintain Angular components and features.
• Turn operational needs into usable user interfaces.
• Contribute to and evolve a shared design system and component library.
• Understand data behind the screens and help shape APIs and pipelines.
• Rapidly prototype solutions to prove or disprove concepts.
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions.
• Ensure performance, quality and responsiveness of applications.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews.
• Ensure code documentation and organisation.
• Incrementally deliver applications to meet customer requirements.
• Resolve incidents in production.
• Collaborate with backend developers, users and stakeholders to solve problems.

We are looking for a Angular Developer

Main Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable and reliable Angular components and features
• Turn operational needs into clear and usable user interfaces
• Contribute to and evolve a shared design system and component library
• Understand the data behind the screens: how it is ingested, modelled and checked for quality, and help shape the APIs and pipelines that deliver it
• Rapidly prototype solutions to quickly prove or disprove new concepts
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of the applications
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests, and take part in code reviews
• Ensure code documentation and organisation
• Incrementally deliver applications to meet dynamic customer requirements
• Resolve incidents in a production environment
• Collaborate with backend developers, users and other stakeholders to solve problems and remove blockers
• Academic degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience building web applications with Angular and TypeScript

Valued Technical and Functional Skills:

• Strong knowledge of modern Angular (standalone components, signals, built-in control flow, reactive forms, RxJS)
• Proficient in TypeScript, HTML and CSS
• Experience with data-intensive UIs: data grids (e.g. AG Grid), charting libraries (e.g. ECharts) and graph or network visualisation
• Attention to UX and interface design
• Demonstrable ability to write clean, readable and well-tested code (e.g. Vitest/Jest, component testing)
• Familiar with Git, code review workflows, CI pipelines and linting/formatting tooling
• Understanding of the fundamental design principles behind a scalable frontend application
• Familiar with Agile practices
• Backend experience with Python (e.g. FastAPI)
• Data skills: data pipelines, data quality, and NoSQL or graph databases (e.g. MongoDB, Neo4j)
• AI skills: building LLM-powered features and making effective use of AI coding assistants
• Appetite for developing an understanding of finance and risk metrics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, delivery-focused with attention to detail
• Good team player with clear and professional communication

Salary Package & Benefits: €1,200 to €2,000 (salary base) + Food Allowance
