As an Android Developer for our Biometric Passport Project in Porto you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the mobile application that will be used to access and manage biometric passport information This is a contract job with a salary of 1200$ per month

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop innovative user-friendly and secure Android applications for our biometric passport project
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features
• Write clean efficient and well-documented code following coding standards
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in the application to ensure smooth functionality
• Continuously research and implement new technologies to improve the performance of the application

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proven work experience as an Android Developer
• Strong knowledge of Java Kotlin Android SDK and Android Studio
• Experience with biometric authentication such as fingerprint scanning or facial recognition is a plus
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON to connect mobile applications to back-end services
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
