Codertal is searching for an experienced Android Developer to join our team under a B2B contract. This fully remote position is open to professionals based in Portugal, offering the opportunity to contribute to the digital transformation of a leading airline company with global reach.

As an Android Developer, you will be part of a high-impact project that powers mobile solutions used by thousands of travelers worldwide. You will work in a collaborative environment, ensuring the development of robust, efficient, and user-friendly mobile applications that meet industry standards for quality and performance.

• Design, develop, and maintain native Android applications using Kotlin.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, backend engineers, and QA specialists.
• Integrate REST APIs and third-party services to extend app functionality.
• Implement best practices for code quality, security, and performance optimization.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing knowledge and proposing new solutions.
• Proven experience with Kotlin and Android SDK.
• Strong understanding of architectural patterns such as MVVM or Clean Architecture.
• Solid version control knowledge with Git.
• 2–5 years of hands-on Android development experience.
• Intermediate to high level of English (international collaboration).
• Residence in Portugal is mandatory.
• Background working on large-scale applications with a high volume of users.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing tools.
• Experience in the travel, transport, or airline industry.
