The Bosch Group, Inc. in Aveiro, Portugal, is seeking an ALM Software Engineer to join the Software Excellence Team. You will maintain and advance the ALM toolchain based on Jira, collaborating with development teams to ensure smooth operations and high-quality tooling.

You will work on Jira system administration, plugin updates, and automated workflows, providing 1st line support to developers, and contributing to continuous improvement of ALM and productivity.

Qualificações

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business informatics, Information Systems or similar.
• Experience in software/tool infrastructure maintenance.
• Ability to quickly analyze, understand & describe complex problems.
• Result oriented way of working and willingness to steer discussion.
• Openness and creativity towards new technologies and possible solution.
• Proactive and highly self-motivated.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain existing ALM Toolchain based on Atlassian Jira and related plugins.
• Keep the tool chain up to date with latest stable versions.
• Conduct thorough tests after updates to ensure features work as intended.
• Ensure services run with minimal downtime.
• Support continuous improvement of ALM.
• Familiarize with tools from end-user and administrator perspectives.
• Work on Jira System Administration topics like customized/scripted settings, automation jobs, workflows.
• Provide 1st level support to developers.

Job Description As part of the Software Excellence Team you will work on ways to increase standardization and automation in software development in close collaboration with all development teams. The focus of your work will be around the development, maintenance and user support for the tool topics with respect to Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) toolchain based on Jira.

Work on maintenance of existing ALM Toolchain based on Atlassian Jira and associated plugins

Keep the tool chain up to date (with latest stable versions)

Ensure thorough tests are conducted over the updates to ensure all features are working as expected

Ensure that services are running with no/ minimal downtime

Support the continuous improvement of ALM

Get to know the tools and processes from end-user and administrator perspective

Work on Jira System Administration topics such as customized / scripted settings, automation jobs, workflows, ...

Give 1st level support to our developers

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business informatics, Information Systems or similar;

Work experience in software and /or tool infrastructure maintenance;

Ability to quickly analyze, understand & describe complex problem;

Result oriented way of working and willingness to steer discussion;

Openness and creativity towards new technologies and possible solution;

Proactive and highly self-motivated.
