Job summary

Open Cosmos in Coimbra, Portugal is seeking an AIT Technician to join the CTO's AIT team. You will physically build our satellites, from assembly to launch integration, ensuring readiness for orbital performance.

You'll work hands-on in cleanroom environments, collaborating with engineers across disciplines. If you're meticulous, curious, and eager to see your work reach orbit, this is your chance to contribute to space missions.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical and electrical assembly for precision work.
• Proficient soldering and building electrical harnesses to high standards.
• Familiarity with cleanroom practices and ESD safety.

What You’ll Be Doing As an AIT Technician, you’ll be part of the team that physically builds our satellites. From assembly to launch integration, you’ll bring spacecraft to life and ensure they’re ready to perform in orbit.

You’ll work hands‑on in cleanroom environments, and collaborate with engineers across disciplines. If you’re meticulous, curious, and motivated by seeing your work literally leave the planet, this is your opportunity to make an impact.
