Thales Portugal is seeking an experienced Solution Design Authority to lead the technical direction of Air Traffic Control solutions from bid to delivery. You will coordinate cross-disciplinary teams and act as the primary technical interface with customers to ensure compliance with requirements and regulatory standards.

You will guide architecture, system lifecycle activities, and IVVQ across projects while aligning with product strategy and safety requirements.

Qualificações

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience in requirements engineering, system design and system life cycle management.
• Ability to act as a technical leader within multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the technical authority for the solution across bids and project delivery.
• Analyse customer requirements and define the system architecture and technical approach.
• Ensure solution compliance with customer needs, product strategy, safety and regulatory requirements.
• Lead systems engineering activities, including requirements definition, system architecture and design reviews.
• Oversee design work across multidisciplinary engineering teams (software, hardware, mechanical and acoustic).
• Coordinate integration, verification, validation and qualification activities (IVVQ) throughout the project lifecycle.
• Act as the main technical interface with the customer and support product development and capability evolution for ATC systems.
