A stealth-mode startup in Portugal is seeking a Backend Engineer (Node.js/NestJS) to build and maintain a proxy backend for their AI platform. The ideal candidate will be experienced in Node.js and NestJS, familiar with databases like PostgreSQL and Redis, and comfortable working closely with C++ engineers. Qualificações

• Strong experience with Node.js and NestJS framework.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and Redis for persistence and caching.
• Hands-on experience with Socket.IO or other WebSocket libraries.
• Experience with secure configuration and secrets management.
• Comfortable working with microservices and integrating with existing codebases.
• Strong debugging and systems thinking.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain a Node.js-based proxy backend.
• Integrate with authentication, RBAC, and logging.
• Expose metrics and logs for monitoring inference usage.
• Extend the existing Dashboard with necessary backend endpoints.
• Develop using NestJS as the main backend framework.
