Critical Manufacturing is building AI-powered, observable, and reliable infrastructure for manufacturing systems from its Porto headquarters. The role focuses on hands-on engineering to connect language models with domain tools, while ensuring robust observability, telemetry, and retraining workflows.

You will collaborate across Product, Data, and Platform Engineering, participating in design reviews and driving tooling that enables safe, scalable AI deployments in Industrial environments.

Qualificações

• Hands-on ML experience with model training/testing.
• Experience with LLMs in production, inference, prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with agentic coding workflows and code assistance.
• Proficiency in server APIs and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and English communication.

Responsabilidades

• Develop MCP servers connecting LLMs to manufacturing tools and data sources.
• Build observability/telemetry for models, including dashboards and alerts.
• Create retraining pipelines and evaluation systems for safe rollouts.
• Contribute to CI/CD, tests, docs, and code reviews.
• Design tooling and workflows for reliable AI in manufacturing.
