Bee Engineering ICT in Lisbon is actively seeking a Senior AI / GenAI Engineer to design, develop, and deliver innovative AI-powered solutions, with a strong focus on Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).

You will work on scalable backend APIs, data pipelines, and cloud deployments, applying best practices and staying at the cutting edge of LangChain, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.

Qualificações

• As a candidate, you hold a degree in Computer Science or equivalent and demonstrate strong Python skills.
• You have hands-on experience with AI/Gen AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• You are proficient with cloud platforms and designing scalable APIs and data pipelines.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and deliver innovative AI-powered solutions with a GenAI focus.
• Build scalable backend APIs and data pipelines for AI workloads.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy ML solutions and ensure maintainability.
• Apply best practices in software engineering and MLOps across projects.

Location: Hybrid | Lisbon

We are hiring a Senior AI / GenAI Engineer to design, develop, and deliver innovative AI-powered solutions, with a strong focus on Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).

Dare to Have:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, or similar
• Strong experience with Python
• Solid understanding of software engineering best practices
• Proven experience designing and developing scalable backend API solutions
• Hands-on experience with AI and Generative AI solutions
• Strong experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Experience with cloud platforms:
• AWS
• GCP
• Experience building and maintaining scalable, efficient, and reliable AI systems
• Experience developing data pipelines, APIs, and integrations with external tools and platforms

Nice to Have:

• Experience with industry-standard AI/ML frameworks and libraries (e.g. LangChain, Hugging Face, TensorFlow, PyTorch)
• Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks
• Knowledge of model deployment and optimization
• Experience with vector databases and retrieval systems (RAG architectures)
• Experience with prompt engineering and LLM fine-tuning
• Knowledge of MLOps practices and AI lifecycle management
