Job summary

ITDS Portugal is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for AI projects in Lisbon with a hybrid work model (up to 3 remote days per week). You will design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications central to AI initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate client requirements into robust software solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience in Python.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Experience with Python web frameworks (Django, Flask, or similar).
• Solid experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and distributed systems concepts.
• Proficient with Git, PRs, and Agile/Scrum workflows.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Python applications for AI projects.
• Participate in architecture and technical design discussions to improve performance and reliability.
