Mantu is seeking a Finance Transformation teammate within Corporate Finance to establish and run the AI FinOps function, providing visibility and control over AI/LLM consumption costs and supporting vendor negotiations. Reporting to the Head of Finance Transformation, you will build cost models and dashboards.

This role requires strong data analysis, experience with FinOps, Python/SQL, and the ability to explain cost insights to non-technical stakeholders. English is required; French is a plus.

Qualificações

• Experience in AI cost management (FinOps), data analysis, and budget management.
• Experience with financial modeling, Python or SQL for data extraction, and generative AI tools.
• Academic background: Master’s degree in management, engineering, or a related field.
• English fluent. French is a plus.
• Experience with cloud or SaaS FinOps practices.
• Experience building and maintaining cost dashboards or models.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM commercial models, including token or credit-based pricing, tiered contracts, and overage rates.
• You demonstrate the ability to build and defend cost/value models to non-technical stakeholders.
• You demonstrate comfort working with high-variance, unpredictable cost data and understanding of budget and vendor contracts.
• You demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to translate technical usage into actionable cost insights.

Responsabilidades

• Build dashboard-level visibility into AI platform spend and identify cost drivers.
• Develop predictive consumption models for accurate AI/LLM cost forecasting.
• Report monthly on cost, consumption trends, and risk exposure.
• Identify and shift workloads off premium models to optimize spend.
• Track model pricing evolution and reassess cost/quality tradeoffs.
• Monitor consumption against contracted thresholds and flag risks.
• Support contract negotiation and renewal discussions with AI vendors with Procurement and AI teams.
• Build and refine Mantu’s AI cost model with input from external advisers and document methodology.

Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Finance Transformation, you will play a key role in establishing and running the AI FinOps function, providing the Group with visibility and control over AI/LLM consumption costs, and supporting commercial negotiations with platform vendors.

Reporting to the Head of Finance Transformation, you will play a key role in establishing and running the AI FinOps function, providing the Group with visibility and control over AI/LLM consumption costs, and supporting commercial negotiations with platform vendors.

Your missions

• Build dashboard-level visibility into AI platform spend (e.g., Dust, Claude), identifying which agents and use cases drive costs
• Develop predictive consumption models that go beyond linear extrapolation, enabling accurate forecasting of AI/LLM costs
• Report monthly on cost, consumption trends, and risk exposure to relevant stakeholders
• Identify and shift workloads off premium models where not justified, optimizing spend by aligning tasks with appropriate model tiers
• Track model pricing evolution and reassess cost/quality tradeoffs as new models are released
• Monitor consumption against contracted thresholds and flag commercial risks proactively
• Support contract negotiation and renewal discussions with AI platform vendors in collaboration with Procurement and the AI team
• Build and continuously refine Mantu’s AI cost model, incorporating external advisory input and documenting methodology for future client-facing offers[doc1]

Your profile

Remuneration

Gross Annual Salary (GAS): EUR 22,000 - EUR 40,000 (basic salary only, the variable component will be detailed in the offer)
