The Mission

We are looking for a forward‑thinking developer who bridges the gap between traditional enterprise stability and the modern AI‑driven development era. You will build robust systems using Java (Spring Boot) and Angular while actively leveraging and integrating AI tools to accelerate delivery and enhance product intelligence.

What You’ll Do

• Develop & maintain scalable web applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Angular.
• Use AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor or internal LLMs) to write, refactor, and document code efficiently.
• Design and integrate RESTful APIs and handle database interactions (SQL/NoSQL).
• Use Git: clean commits, meaningful branch names, painless merges and apply branching strategies such as GitFlow.
• Create modular, reusable components in Angular that feel great to use.
• Containerize with Docker to keep environments consistent from development to production.
• Participate in code reviews and agile ceremonies.
• Stay ahead of the curve by testing and adopting new AI dev‑tools that improve the team’s workflow.

What You Bring to the Table

• Strong foundation in Java 17/21+ and experience with Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and modern Angular (v17+ preferred).
• Git expertise: understanding of rebase vs merge and when to use each.
• Docker proficiency: ability to write Dockerfiles, manage images, and articulate why containerization matters.

The AI & Tooling Edge

• Experience using AI tools for boilerplate generation, unit test creation and complex debugging.
• Prompt engineering skills to craft precise instructions for LLMs that produce high‑quality, secure code.
• Critical evaluation: audit AI‑generated code for security vulnerabilities and performance bottlenecks (Human in the Loop).

Nice‑to‑Haves

• Experience integrating OpenAI/Anthropic/Gemini APIs into web applications.
• Familiarity with vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone) or LangChain.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Testing mindset, experience with JUnit, Jasmine/Karma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with Liferay CMS.
