Job summary

PrimeIT is seeking an AI Architect to lead end-to-end Data, AI, and GenAI architectures for national and international projects across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments.

You will design scalable, secure systems, promote MLOps practices, and ensure seamless integration with enterprise platforms while communicating effectively in English. Portugal location with mid/senior level experience is desired.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical architecture with exposure to AI-driven solutions.
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML and GenAI architectures (RAG, embeddings, pipelines).
• Experience with cloud and hybrid environments (Azure, AWS) and enterprise AI platforms like Azure OpenAI.
• Understanding of APIs, event-driven architectures and microservices.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, CI/CD, IaC, and automation with clear English communication.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead end-to-end architectures for Data, AI, and GenAI solutions.
• Design scalable, secure architectures across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem setups.
• Architect solutions for analytical, predictive, generative AI, and automation use cases.
• Ensure integration with enterprise systems and modernize legacy apps.
• Promote MLOps/LLMOps, CI/CD, observability, and governance; guide technical decisions.
