Emma – The Sleep Company in Lisbon is seeking an Accounts Receivable Accountant to own the full receivables cycle for one of our 11 EMEA markets. You’ll bill, collect, control credit, recognize revenue and report to protect cash flow.

You’ll report to the Accounts Receivable Manager and collaborate with Wholesale EU, Operations, Customer Excellence and Controlling to ensure accurate and timely month-end close and reliable debt visibility.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in accounting operations, AR, billing, collections or credit control.
• Hands-on experience in billing and customer contact within credit control or collections.
• Knowledge of full order-to-cash cycle, revenue recognition and month-end closing.
• Autonomous, proactive and structured; able to prioritize and communicate with stakeholders.
• Fluent in English; French is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end AR cycle for your market, from billing to cash collection.
• Lead collections and credit control with clients and BPO partners.
• Own revenue recognition and support timely month-end close.
• Manage ticket-based inquiry flow across stakeholders.
• Deliver debt reporting: DSO, biggest debtors, time-to-pay.
• Track KPIs: aging >15 days, backlog recovery, collection effectiveness.
• Build relationships with clients and Sales; align on debts.
• Identify process improvements for AR accuracy and compliance.
