Our client who is a global leader in the insurance market, join them as an Accounting Controller specializing in Financial Consolidation. Based in Porto, Portugal, you will be part of a dynamic European Service Center, contributing to the Consolidation Department's mission. This hybrid role requires fluency in French and English, with a start date of June 25, 2026.

Requirements

• Must currently reside in Porto, Portugal.
• Mandatory experience with Financial Consolidation.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, audit, and/or financial reporting.
• Fluent in English and French (minimum intermediate level).
• High motivation for automatization and efficiency gains, including strong Excel
• manipulation skills and applied programming.
• Knowledge of IFRS principles and norms, including those specific to insurance (e.g IFRS), 4 – IFRS 17 / IAS39 – IFRS 9), is an asset.
• Previous experience and knowledge in the Banking or Insurance industry is a significant advantage.
