Responsibilities

• Daily accounting of all invoices and employee expenses
• Execute and oversight on daily basis the bank movements and monthly bank reconciliations
• Control and manage the fixed assets registry
• Establishing, maintaining, and coordinating the implementation of accounting and accounting control procedures
• Survey responses to various organizations related to the financial and administrative department
• Assist functioning of the Finance Department, as far as possible, whenever the Finance Manager is absent
• Support the preparation of the Model 22 (income tax payable) and of the Accounting Annual Declaration (IES); - Maintenance of the annual fiscal dossier;
• Support VAT calculation and payment on a monthly basis
• Manage and deliver, in due time, all the requirements related with fiscal reporting under the rules of the Portuguese Fiscal Administration

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in accounting/finance
• Bachelors in Accounting, Finance or similar
• Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills.
• Strong level of English (written and spoken)
• Good interpersonal and good communication skills
• Strong SNC knowledge
• Previous experience with NetSuite is a plus
