emagine is seeking an Automation & AI Operations Administrator to join a collaborative and dynamic project environment in Porto, Portugal. This role is ideal for professionals with an IT operations, automation, or technical support background who have hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Automate and are interested in developing their expertise in enterprise automation and AI technologies.

You will be part of the Automation & AI Operations team, working closely with Solution Architects, Automation Developers, Platform Engineers, and external technology partners to ensure the stability, reliability, and continuous operation of enterprise automation and AI solutions. The environment is primarily based on Microsoft technologies, including Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Copilot, and Azure AI Foundry. The role combines day-to-day platform operations, monitoring, incident and request handling, troubleshooting, deployments, and continuous improvement of automation and AI-enabled processes.

What You'll Be Working On

• Monitor automation workflows, jobs, and AI-enabled processes to ensure stable and reliable execution.
• Handle incoming operational requests, incidents, automation failures, and service-related issues.
• Troubleshoot Microsoft Power Automate workflow failures and coordinate resolution with internal technical teams and external vendors when required.
• Monitor and manage scheduled automation jobs, workflows, and processes.
• Execute deployment processes for automation solutions and platform updates.
• Perform system maintenance, configuration, and operational tasks across the Automation & AI platform.
• Continuously monitor the health and operational status of automation workflows and AI services.
• Provide regular updates on operational activities, incidents, and platform status to the Automation & AI team.
• Prioritize daily operational activities based on incidents, requests, automation failures, and platform impact.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of the Automation & AI platform landscape.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Automation Developers, and Platform Engineers to ensure new automation and AI solutions can be reliably operated in production.
• Support incident management activities involving external vendors and Microsoft services.
• Participate in proof-of-concept initiatives related to new automation capabilities and AI technologies.
• Support IT audit activities related to automation and AI systems.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on automation reliability, operational processes, and platform stability.

What We're Looking For

• 0–3 years of professional experience in a large enterprise IT environment.
• 0–3 years of experience in IT Operations, IT Support, Automation Support, or a similar technical environment.
• Hands-on professional experience with Microsoft Power Automate is mandatory, including experience monitoring, troubleshooting, configuring, or supporting automated workflows.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Copilot and Azure AI Foundry is mandatory.
• Basic understanding of enterprise IT platforms, automation technologies, and digital workflows.
• Understanding of automation platforms and workflow orchestration.
• Understanding of AI-enabled business applications and enterprise AI tools.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
• Understanding of enterprise IT architecture.
• Basic understanding of networks and firewalls.
• Ability to troubleshoot automation failures, operational incidents, and technical issues in a structured way.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work in a structured, process-oriented operational environment.
• Good level of English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with additional Microsoft Power Platform technologies.
• Experience working with Power Apps, Power BI, or Microsoft Dataverse.
• Experience with Azure services and Microsoft cloud environments.
• Experience with monitoring and operational support practices.
• Previous experience working with external vendors or technology providers.

Working Hours & Availability

As part of a platform operations team, the role may occasionally require availability outside standard working hours. The operations team typically meets early in the morning to review platform health, automation job execution, and operational incidents. Some weekend work may be required due to maintenance windows, system upgrades, or deployment activities.

• Candidates must be based in Portugal.
• Location: Porto, Portugal – hybrid working model, with work from the emagine office required.
