Senior Backend Engineer – AI ERP Platform (Remote)
Job summary
A growing AI-native ERP startup is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to design and build core backend systems. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in backend engineering, proficiency in Python, and a deep understanding of complex business-logic products. You will launch production-ready features and integrate third-party tools in a high-speed, high-trust culture. This position offers significant equity ownership and a competitive salary range of $110K to $175K with benefits including 15 PTO days and a remote-first work model.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in backend engineering.
- Deep experience with complex business-logic products.
- Proficient in Python and a modern web framework (FastAPI, Flask, or Django).
- Experience deploying on AWS or similar cloud infrastructure.
- Strong database skills including PostgreSQL, SQL, ORMs.
Responsibilities
- Design and build core backend systems using Python.
- Build APIs and infrastructure handling complex accounting logic.
- Launch production-ready features from scratch.
