Job summary

Headcount Solutions Sp. z o.o. seeks a Workshop/Production Manager to lead a small team and oversee shift planning, training, and safety. You will coordinate technical problem solving, ensure process efficiency, and maintain quality and documentation for production operations.

The role involves collaboration on projects, cost-center management, and hands-on changeovers with a focus on continuous improvement and workplace safety.

Qualifications

• Engineer/Technician/Master craftsman in manufacturing tech with relevant experience.
• Experience in metalworking, machining, stainless steel.
• Knowledge of welding, soldering, assembly.
• Welding specialist training advantageous.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• CAD knowledge advantageous.
• Good English or German skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage 7-8 staff, conduct appraisals.
• Plan shifts, handovers and vacations.
• Train and instruct staff on safety and procedures.
• Coordinate for solving technical problems with internal/external resources.
• Optimize processes, ensure order/cleanliness, reduce downtime.
• Own quality and quantity responsibilities.
• Collaborate on projects and plant procurement.
• Manage cost centers, monitor expenses.
• Coordinate changeovers and prepare documentation; release workstation.
• Troubleshoot and coordinate rework.
• Record material and activities in PPS and maintain tools/fixtures.

Workshop/Production Manager

Personnel responsibility and management of 7-8 people; staff appraisals

Personnel planning (according to requirements: shift planning, shift handover, vacation planning)

Personnel training, qualification and instruction of people (workplace, occupational safety, hazardoussubstances, etc.)

Coordinator for solving of technical problems (identifying the problem, integrating external orinternal resources)

Optimization of work processes, Ensure order and cleanliness, Avoidance of downtimes (machine)and waiting times (personnel)

Responsibility for quantity and quality

Collaboration on projects, plant procurement

Cost center responsibility (cost planning and expense monitoring)

Coordination and hands on at change over, workplace preparation (e.g. parts supply), includingfurther development specifications and documentation ; Release / documentation of the workstation

Troubleshooting; Coordination of rework

Material and activity postings in IT System PPS (for example production orders)

Execution of maintenance activities as well as implementation of preventive maintenance includingaccording documents, coordination of spare parts for tools and fixtures; Systematic toolmanagement, preparation and maintenance of tools and fixtures

Education

• Engineer, technician, master craftsman (manufacturing technology, production technology) withprofessional experience in an adequate technical profession
• Experience in metalworking, machining, stainless steel
• Knowledge of the following technologies: welding, soldering, assembly, etc.
• Training as welding specialist advantageous
• Microsoft Office
• CAD knowledge advantageous
• Good English or German Skills
