Job summary

Nextomation in Poland is seeking a Project Manager to lead cutting-edge automotive engineering projects worldwide. You will coordinate a multi-disciplinary team, manage budgets and schedules, and report progress in line with IPMA/PMI standards.

The role offers a hybrid work model, full-time contract, and opportunities to engage with international clients. Strong English is required, knowledge of German a plus, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 2 years of project management experience in the automotive industry.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, automation, robotics, or related field.
• Experience leading a team of specialists.
• Knowledge of PM methods per IPMA/PMI; certification is a plus.
• Knowledge of production process automation.
• Strong organizational skills for solo and team work.
• Fluent communication with clients and project team.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze project documentation and verify technical, functional, and financial aspects.
• Support, manage, and coordinate the project team.
• Prepare and oversee project budget and schedule.
• Coordinate tasks per company methodology and policies.

Responsibilities:

• Analysis of project documentation; verification of technical, functional, and financial aspects
• Support, management, and coordination of the project team within the scope of the project
• Preparation and ongoing oversight of the project budget and schedule
• Coordination of tasks within the project, in accordance with the company’s methodology and policies
• Ensuring quality communication within the project, resolving problems and conflicts
• Client care: ongoing communication, handling technical and formal arrangements, and building good, long-term relationships
• Responsibility for upselling activities within the project with support from the Sales Department
• Ongoing reporting on project progress, organizing meetings, as well as formally closing the project and providing a summary

Requirements:

• 2 years of experience in project management in the automotive industry
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering, automation, robotics, project management, or a related field
• Experience managing a team of specialists
• Knowledge of project management methods according to IPMA/PMI standards; certification is a plus
• Knowledge of production process automation
• Independence, strong organizational skills for both individual and team work
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and the project team
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects/processes simultaneously and manage priorities
• Ability to manage change, escalation, and risk
• Proficiency in English sufficient to comfortably execute technical projects for international clients
